Great Products with Great Service

"I just purchased my 5th pair of Piloti shoes and when they arrived they were too small even though I ordered the same size as the previous 4 pairs. I contacted Customer Service and was issued a return shipping label and exchanged the small ones for a pair that is one size larger. The process was simple and extremely easy. I love Piloti shoes always comfortable, extremely well made and I always get compliments."

Great shoes but. . . .

"First I want to start off with these shoes are Great daily wearers for driving, maybe not racing but just over all confident dailey driving, the materials are wonderful and feel great and they feel great to wear after they are broken in. My two biggest gripes is that they are a challenge to put on. My left foot goes in easy and my right doesn't go in as easy im a US size 12 and never had this problem before but these are hand made so I understand there will be some imperfections. And second the toe box will wear pretty quickly and lose its soft characteristic at least with the brown Modenas and these things will collect dirt like crazy cause the leather is so soft you'll see water stains on these so you'll have to clean them frequently which will wear away the soft characteristics of the shoes faster but hey it leather I totally get it but the exterior leather could use some beefing up as these are cross trainers not dress shoes. Overall I'm very pleased with them but definitely need some improvement. I will definitely be buying another pair in the future after they improve"

Modena Trainer

"I am very conflicted about this shoe. On one hand, it looks nice, has really premium feeling materials, and it fits my feet well. I can tell it will be comfortable to wear for longer periods of time than some of my other Piloti shoes. I also appreciate that it is light weight. However, it has a couple of issues that make it hard to recommend as a “driver’s shoe” which I thought was the primary focus of the Piloti brand? Specifically, the forefoot is very wide, which means it’s less than ideal for cramped foot wells, especially on manual transmission cars. The sole also has sharp edges, rather than the rounded edges of some other Pilot models. I found it getting caught during “heel-and-toe” maneuvers. I don’t see what the extra width in the sole is contributing to the comfort of the shoe so I think you could make it narrower. Secondly, there is extra material in the sole of the shoe behind the heel. So while the heel is nicely rounded, the extra material means it doesn’t feel like a natural pivot for the throttle pedal. I have been driving in Piloti shoes since the mid-2000s. The Prototipo model was one of the all time greats, and I currently have 2 pairs of the Shift model which are also really good driving shoes. I think with some refinement the Modena could be as good as a driving shoe as some of your other models with better comfort."

Pair #1 led to 7 more!

"I received my first Piloti shoes as a gift - and since then have purchased 7 additional pair. Great fit, comfortable, stylish, and a reasonable price; they are perfect!"
